Weeping style bonsai are so named because the
majority of their foliage weeps, or hangs
downward.
Weeping style bonsai may be in most any
primary style: formal upright, informal upright,
slanting or windswept, but most usually the
informal upright configuration.
A perfect example of the weeping style in nature is the Eucalyptus tree.
