A forest or group style bonsai is one
in which three or more trees are
planted in a single container.
Forest bonsai plantings usually contain a single species
of plant material.
There should be a single rhythm or style; formal
upright, informal upright, windswept, etc.
There is usually a bigger tree in the middle part in making a forest style as it creates an illusion of a big forest.
This Bonsai won 3rd Place in Davao Bonsai Competition it is consist of 3 raft style Bonsai. It was a clever idea made by the artist, if only 1 raft style is displayed there will be no balance in portraying a forest.
